On July 17, Armenia’s Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan visited the NKR Defense Army in connection with the ongoing cooperation between Armenia’s and Nagorno-Karabakh’s armed forces. According to the press service of Nagorno-Karabakh’s Ministry of Defense, Ohanyan toured various segments of the military frontline accompanied by NKR Defense Minister Lieutenant General Movses Hakobyan. The two Armenian states’ defense ministers met with the army chief of staff and various military commanders. They also inspected the frontlines, the maintenance and upkeep of fire alarm systems, and other infrastructure. In response to the enemy’s recent attempts to escalate hostilities, the defense ministers provided various instructions and appropriate methodological recommendations?? to the military personnel. The defense ministers also participated in the groundbreaking ceremony of a new military facility funded by philanthropist Hayk Maghakelyan and built in the village of Kolatak in the Martakert region.
